Many people yearn for a positive mindset and a healthy toned body and fit lifestyle, and the popularity of model. I’ve been able to get in shape over the last three weeks by following three simple rules I’ve set for myself. Today I’m sharing how I did it.
It’s tempting to Google ‘exercises that give you quickest results’ or to follow a YouTube video titled ‘Lose 1,000 kilograms in an hour!’ I tried dead lifting 6 times a week, but most of the process sucked, my muscles were so sore I couldn’t stand it.
When you want quick results, you always push yourself too hard, even though it can hurt your mind and body. This time I asked myself. What kind of exercise do you enjoy, that you can stick to for a long period of time several times a week, and that you think you can challenge little by little? The answer was jogging. I signed up for Energy Fit in Shipyard and decided to take some lessons.
I enjoy running at a slow, comfortable level and then doing some body weight exercises. Loud pop music keeps me immersed in exercise, and team spirit with other girls keeps me motivated. Also, it was a women-only gym, so it was very comfortable.
Sustainable eating habits
I can’t go on any crazy diets (although I love fasting and still do it sometimes). I’ve made a conscious effort to eat nutritious foods’ like to eat clean and healthy during the week and have a rest day on the weekends. On Saturdays, I like to go out with friends and my boyfriend and enjoy pizza. I recommend choosing a healthy eating style that you can stick to for months and years and get good results.
This may seem like a no-brainier, but getting enough sleep every night is very important. Not getting enough sleep can lead to poor workout performance, low energy levels, and high sugar intake. I got an Apple Watch for my birthday this year and I use it as a sleep tracker so I can really see how well I slept and what I can do to improve.
