fatThere are many types of diets but if you’re looking for a cleansing and detox diet, the grape diet is a natural alternative to consider. Why? It has many properties that can help you lose weight.

The grape is a fruit that has a bad press in relation to losing weight because their caloric intake is a little high for being a fruit but like all myth is not true and the reality is that, beyond their calories grapes have benefits that can facilitate weight loss.

What are these properties?


Antioxidant. Grapes have vitamins, minerals, carotenoids and reservation which act as natural antioxidants. These not only act against free radicals, but also promote the use of fat for energy.

The diet consists of grape:

Day 1

Breakfast: 1 cup pineapple juice and grapes.

Mid Morning: 1 cup dandelion infusion. A cup of nonfat yogurt with a teaspoon of bran and three chopped grapes.

Lunch: 1 cup light broth. Lettuce, endive, tomato, celery and cucumber, with a handful of almonds. 1 cup grapes.

Snack: 1 cup dandelion infusion.

Dinner: 1 cup light broth. Salad with asparagus, grated carrot and sauerkraut. 1 cup of green tea. Half a cup of grapes.

Days 2 and 3

Before breakfast, lunch and dinner: 2 glasses of water.

Breakfast: 1 glass of grape juice and orange.

Lunch: 1 cup light broth. Salad of broccoli, red peppers, Brussels sprouts and some chopped walnuts. 1 cup grapes.

Snack: 1 cup of grape juice.

Dinner: 1 cup light broth. Tomato, shredded carrots and shredded cucumber. A cup of grapes. 1 cup of green tea.

Day 4

Breakfast: 1 cup of grapes and watermelon. A cup of green tea.

Mid Morning: A cup of dandelion tea.

Lunch: 1 glass of carrot juice and grapes. Lettuce, endive, asparagus and cucumber and soybean sprouts. Half a cup of grapes.

Snack: A quarter of a watermelon.

Dinner: 1 glass of grape juice. Salad of beetroot, carrot, peas and bean sprouts. A cup of green tea.These menus can be indicative and can replace vegetables and other fruits except grapes.

Keep in mind that this diet is not advisable to do it for more than 4 days since it is very restrictive. According to lore can lose between 2 to 2.5 kilos. Even recommended do it in late summer and / or winter to detoxify the body.
