Weight lossThe number of obese or overweight children is increasing at a phenomenal rate in the United States. In general, children spend more time watching TV, computer or game console and less time exercising. On the other hand, busy families today have less time to prepare healthy meals at home regularly every day. From fast food to electronics, quick and easy is it in the minds of many people, of all ages, in the new millennium.



Since the early sixties, the number of overweight children and adolescents has almost doubled in the U.S.Today, 10% of children between 2 and 5 years and over 15% of children and young people between 6 and 19 are overweight, and 31% of adults are also obese, one whopping!

Studies indicate that overweight and obese adolescents have up to 80% chance of becoming overweight. Overcoming obesity and overweight of their children means changing the way you and your family eat and do exercises and how they spend time with family.

Ensure that their children adopt a healthy lifestyle is essentially your responsibility as a parent, giving the example.
