Diet for fatty liver

fatty liverLose Weight Fatty liver is a metabolic disease characterized by excessive accumulation of fat in the liver. There are two types of fatty liver: 1) alcoholic origin, which occurs usually in people who suffer from alcoholism. 2) No alcohol, which can occur in people with a diet high in fats and carbohydrates and low in protein.

The main treatment for fatty liver is diet, which should avoid certain foods such as simple sugars, meats, sausages, irritating condiments, sugary foods, fatty meats, animal fats, fried foods, refined flours, foods high in cholesterol, fat , seafood, among others.



On the other hand, foods that should be included in a diet for fatty liver: fruits, vegetables, lean meats, vegetable oils / oils with omega 3 (1-3 servings daily), fish, flour and grains, low-fat dairy foods with low glycemic, slow absorbing carbohydrates, etc.. Fiber intake is also very beneficial for fatty liver, as it reduces blood cholesterol levels.

Below is a menu diet for fatty liver. However, consult your doctor before starting this or any diet.

Diet menu for fatty liver

DAY 1
• Breakfast: 1 tea with skim milk, 1 whole wheat toast with 1 Tbsp. dietary fat cheese and 2 slices of pineapple.
• Lunch: 1 cup of broth or homemade soup diet with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 portion of grilled fish, 1 serving of salad with artichokes and 1 fruit.
• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 large bowl of cooked vegetables such as spinach, squash and carrots, 1 cup of fruit salad.

DAY 2
• Breakfast: 1 tea with skim milk, 1 whole wheat toast with 1 Tbsp. dietary jam, 2 slices of melon.
• Lunch: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 grilled chicken breast with 1 slice of carrot puree, 1 fruit.
• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 large bowl of salad with lettuce, tomato, arugula and chopped egg, 1 cup of fruit salad.

DAY 3
• Breakfast: 1 tea with skim milk, 1 whole wheat toast with 1 Tbsp. dietary fat cheese, 2 slices of pineapple.
• Lunch: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 2 zucchini halves stuffed with vegetables, 1 fruit.
• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 serving of tuna with 1 serving of brown rice, 1 gelatin diets.

DAY 4
• Breakfast: 1 tea with skim milk, 1 whole wheat toast with 1 Tbsp. dietary jam, 1 cup of fresh fruit juice.
• Lunch: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 serving of beef steak with 1 serving of broccoli salad, 1 grilled fruit.
• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 2 servings of pudding 1 cup spinach and fruit salads.

DAY 5
• Breakfast: 1 tea with skim milk, 1 whole wheat toast with 1 Tbsp. dietary fat cheese, 2 slices of pineapple.
• Lunch: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 portion of grilled fish with salad 1 serving carrots, 1 fruit.
• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. of yeast, 1 serving of pumpkin pie, 1 part gelatin diets.

DAY 6
• Breakfast: 1 tea with skim milk, 1 whole wheat toast with 1 Tbsp. dietary fat cheese, 2 slices of melon.
• Lunch: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 serving grilled chicken breast with 1 serving of mashed mixed, 1 cup of fruit salad.
• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. of yeast, 1 cup of tomato salad, arugula, asparagus, basil, cream cheese pasta firm cubed, 1 cup of fruit salad.

DAY 7

• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 2 parts pumpkin pudding, 1 part gelatin diets.

DAY 8
• Breakfast: 1 tea with skim milk, 1 whole wheat toast with 1 Tbsp. dietary fat cheese, 2 slices of pineapple.
• Lunch: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. of yeast, 1 serving of cooked noodles with vegetables such as broccoli, green onions, peppers, roasted 1 fruit.
• Snack: 1 low fat yogurt and unsweetened cereals.
• Dinner: 1 cup of homemade soup diet soup with 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast, 1 portion of grilled fish with 1 serving of salad of artichoke, 1 fruit.

For snacks mid-morning and mid afternoon you can choose between:
